Research research literature to determine the population, sampling Paper

Literature to determine the population, sampling strategy, HIPAA concerns, informed consent procedures, and place - Research Paper ExampleThe caregivers and patients included in the research were also supposed to have sixth grade education at the minimum and be in a position to read and comprehend English. They should also attain a score of at least seven in the Short portable Mental Status Questionnaire (SPMSQ) as well as at least 40 in the Palliative Performance Scale (PPS). Since the study concentrated on management of pain, constipation and dyspnea, the patients included in the research had to be experiencing two of them.A sample of 329 home care patients suffering from cancer and family caregivers were selected and randomly assort into three categories. One control group comprised of 109 people received standard care, another group with the same number received standard care and well-disposed visits while the third group comprised of 111 people received standard care and COPE intervention. This method of sampling is known as cluster sampling in which case naturally occurring groups would be selected and be included in a sample. In this method, the population would be divided into groups or samples. In some cases, preferably than collecting data from every group, a sub-sample would be used.Economical- expenditure is one of the major concerns in any sampling method. However, since the research will be carried bulge on clusters, the expenditure is tremendously reduced due to the fewer listing efforts incorporated (William, 2007).Feasibility- cluster sampling method is also more feasible when carrying place research on large populations (William, 2007). Given that the population in the large hospice is in excess of 300, carrying out comprehensive research may not be very feasible and therefore, clustering the samples would make it more feasible. In carrying out any form of research, the vulnerability of the variables used in the samples is taken into cons ideration (William, 2007). In essence, the patients and caregivers used in the research are quite vulnerable given the

PATHOPHYSIOLOGY OF SMALL BOWEL OBSTRUCTION AND NURSING INTERVENTIONS Essay

PATHOPHYSIOLOGY OF SMALL BOWEL OBSTRUCTION AND NURSING INTERVENTIONS APPLIED TO NURSING PRACTICE - try ExampleThe consequence is failure of the materials in the intestines to move out align the body for secretion. This means that materials such as stool, waste fluids, and gases accumulate in the intestines and often go along to critical health condition as the buildup strains the small intestines. This identifies the role of nursing in ensuring a healthy society at individual, family, and communal levels through cognisance for preventive measures and treatment and post treatment initiative for effective recovery from effects of small bowel obstruction. Nursing roles include care provision, educating the public on preventive and management measures against diseases and their symptoms, counseling, and clinical approaches towards a healthy society. This scope demands nurses association of health complications such as causes, symptoms, effects, diagnosis, and treatment measures. This paper demonstrate background knowledge of small bowel obstruction through reviewing irritable bowel syndrome, its anatomy and physiology, its epidemiology and laboratory tests and diagnostics for excluding other conditions, its emotional effects on patients, interventions measures, and significance of these knowledge nursing practice. Anatomy and physiology of irritable bowel syndrome Irritable bowel syndrome is characterized by pain and change in bowel movements because of abnormal muscle contraction and expansion. It is majorly associated with the bigger intestines but extends to the small intestines. The large intestines form the last section of the digestive system and forms about six feet. It is also called the large bowel and is made up of the cecum, colon, rectum, and anus (Canadian Cancer Society, 2013, p. 1). Colon and rectum are the major sections of the large bowel. There are four sections of the colon. The first section is the ascending colon that enjoins the cecum an d moves upwards towards the leaver where it connects to the transverse colon that runs horizontally towards the spleen. The transverse colon is located at the upper section of the abdomen and joins with the descending colon that runs downwards, on the left side of the abdomen, and connects to the sigmoid colon. The sigmoid colon connects to the rectum that ends the lower bowel at the anal canal (Allen and Harper, 2011 Canadian Cancer Society, 2013). The major sections of the lower bowel, the colon, and rectum have similar geomorphologic composition that is identified from their component tissues. The inner most grade of the rectum and the colon is the mucosa that consists of epithelium, lamina propria, and muscularis mucosa (Canadian Cancer Society, 2013, p. 1). The propria is an integrating tissue while the muscularis mucosa is abounding in muscles. After the mucosa in a layer of submucosa that is rich in connective tissues, glands, blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, and nerves ( Canadian Cancer Society, 2013, p. 1). A layer of muscles follows this before the outer layer that exist only in the colon, serosa (Canadian Cancer Society, 2013). Both colon and rectum absorbs nutrients from digested food into the body. They also absorb water and go a passage for elimination of waste products. This however occurs in steps and at different sections of the colon and the rectum. Digestion of food from the small bowel is completed in the colon with the

The education in the field of nursing in the commendable program Essay

The education in the field of nursing in the commendable program - Essay ExampleThis research will begin with the report that according to an anonymous quote, save one life, you are a hero. Save 100 lives, you are a nurse. It would not be wrong to cogitate the profession of nursing as one of the strong pillars in the field of medicine. This profession not only involves the acquisition of effective medical knowledge and skills, it as well as requires a tender heart that can sympathize with the pain of the patients. The relevance of nursing is often undermined by being overshadowed with more attractive jobs of surgeons and consultants. The researcher believes that the doctors treatments involve to be coupled with effective and tender economic aid by nurses to ensure long term health for the patients. It is due to this belief that the author has been inclined towards this shocking profession since many years and wants to pursue his education in your esteemed institution. The autho rs childhood memories have some instances when the authors parents would gain me to a shelter and spend time with the less fortunate ones in the society. It was often witnessed that effective medical treatment was being given to them, however, the tender care of their loved ones was missing which would lead to boosting their morale and head them towards the road of better health. The absence of family members in the lives of such people was seen to be filled with the care of nurses. The trueness of those professionals was worth admiration which made me work as a volunteer nurse for a few times.

All My Sons by Arthur Miller Essay Example for Free

All My Sons by Arthur Miller EssayExplain how Arthur Miller makes this moment in his fit All My Sons so prominent.Refer to Extract 6 for passageIn his play All My Sons, Arthur Miller makes the moment of George Deevers arrival highly dramatic through the smell that a crisis looms for the Kellers and is then narrowly avoided. Hostility is reduced to calm and jovial equanimity through Kate Kellers maternal dominance and unconditional nature, and this in turn ensures that the threat posed by George is negated. At first, the interactions between Chris and George are adversarial as Chris repudiates the truth George asserts. Kate Keller resists Chris too, though in a very different way, which is ultimately successful in nullifying George and the threat he represents to the false reality of Joe Kellers innocence. The initial interactions in this passage create a hostile line that arises from the clash between George Deever and Chris Keller. George has arrived to insist that Ann doe s not marry Chris because Joes guilt, or, more particularly, Joes dishonesty about his guilt, resulted in their fathers imprisonment and the end of their family. Chris insists that George wont say anything now. He intends to marry Ann and, more importantly, has systematically suppressed any doubts about his fathers innocence. Miller has George speak recent him to Ann, youre coming with me, he says, and again, youre coming with me. This repetition in his conversation conveys his tenacity and suggests that hes unlikely to desist. His challenge to Chris is part of a larger challenge to the false reality in which the Kellers have been living, a reality in which Joe is innocent. Kate has protected this reality for years and proceeds to do so again now. When Kate Keller enters she immediately adopts a tone of maternal care and concern toward George. Raising both hands she comes toward him saying Georgie, Georgie. This diminutive calls into the present Georges past, his childishness and the happy associations he would have attached to Kate Keller during that time. Millers stage directions describe how she cups his face, a gesture suggestive of the affection and intimacy between a mother and young son. She remarks that he has become grey and that he looks like a ghost. This dialogue paints a vivid image of George as a diminished and almost lifeless figure deserving of pity and perhaps plays on any feelings of self-pity he might have. She declares that she will make him a sandwich, and insists that he is difference to sit here and drink some juice. Her theatrical and almost hyperbolic performance is one that seeks to emphasise her concern for Georges well-being and the motherly lust to nourish him and see him in good health. George is not actually her son, instead he belongs to the now fractured and dysfunctional Deever family. Theres a real sense that Kate is playing on this. She works to establish the nature of her interaction with George as obviously maternal, a nd thereby implicitly encourages him to adopt the corresponding role of dependant and pleasurable son. Moreover, Kate works to displace both Georges mother and Ann as the female person figure to whom George owes the most loyalty and thereby establishes her own dominance and control. Whats the affair with your mother, she asks, why dont she feed you? This question undermines Georges mother as a capable maternal provider. Next, Miller has her takes aim at Ann, warn her for saying that George was fine since he so demonstrably is not.Just as Georges mother supposedly fails to nurture him, Kate points out a similar flunk in Ann when she notices Ann hasnt given George grape juice. Ann says defensively that she offered it to him. The stage direction that describes her tone as defensive makes it clear that she feels as though she is under attack. And indeed she is. Kates reply is said scoffingly, showing that she is ridiculing Ann for her apparently inept attempts to adequately care for her brother. By undermining both Georges mother and sister, Kate implicitly offers herself as the female figure on whom George can really depend.Ultimately, Kate succeeds and Chris defers to her utterly. Hostility dissolves into amiability and affection. Miller makes it clear from the beginning that George always liked Kate. This stage direction reveals a photograph he has in regard to her. At first he is gently dismissive of her, saying I know and I feel all right. This dialogue suggests he isnt buying into her performance, or at least not at first. Eventually, however, he declares Kate, I feel hungry already. This line signals a life-or-death shift. It is so obviously said with affection and good humour. Clearly, the thought of doing anything to hurt Kate could not be further from his mind. Moreover, it indicates that he has adopted the role into which she has been cajoling him that is, the dependent and obedient son.Throughout this passage Kate is highly manipulative. She is motivated by an instinct to protect the false reality she and Joe perpetuate and on which she depends if she is to see her husband as anything moreover a monster who killed their son, Larry. Her success hinges on quelling George and the uncertainty of this is what creates the angst-ridden drama at this moment in the play. Ultimately, of course, her success is only momentary.

Death of a Parent Essay Example for Free

Death of a Pargonnt EssayI believe we are defined by events that happen throughout our lives both passivity and negatively. Most of the events that change peoples paths often happen suddenly in their life history and sometimes have long term effects. Whether it is a personal, religious, life style, or even a cathexiser change the fact still remains the ready for change was caused by the event. The statements above are true for my life my life was about to change forever. This is the day I found out my capture had except six months to live, I was only 19 years old. I was picking my convey up from a routine follow-up appointment she had at Keesler nisus force Base Hospital in Biloxi Mississippi, on the afternoon of 3 March 1997. I was walking up the steps of the hospital when I truism her walking out her face was pale I asked her if she was ok, her response was no. At this point in time everything went silent she asked me to sit down on the steps but I couldnt I just wante d to know what was wrong. My m other(a) while holding my hands then told me the results of the test and that she had liver cancer and it was untreatable.I was frozen non knowing what to say I just grab her and held her close and begun to cry. She told me to stop crying because she was going to need me to be strong for her and my brothers, that she wanted her cash in ones chips six months to be happy memories not sad ones. Lets step back for a moment so I can explain the relationship I had with my gravel because it was not your normal one. My mother was so much more to me than just a mom, she was my outgo friend I told her everything and she told me everything. We spent numerous late darks talking about everything in life from how our day went to what life would hold for us in the future. My mother was one of those people who never wanted or asked for anything for herself but was one who gave everything and would do anything for her children. When I say her children I dont just miserly her biological ones, she took care and provide for so many more, whether it was local neighbor hood, friends, family, co- induceers and sometime even comp allowe strangers who just need swear out. I remember many nights sitting at the kitchen table with people eating dinner with us who I did not know and many of them I would never see again after that night. My mom would al airs say we dont have much but what we do have is sometimes way more than what others have. My mother was the strongest person I ever known, who also had the biggest heart. Two years before we found out she only had six months to live my mother kicked breast cancers ass. At least so we thought until the cancer showed back up in her liver and the doctors only gave her six months to live. At first nothing changed for her life or mine after finding out the bad news in fact she made me promise not to tell my brothers or anyone else. She continued running(a) up to about the last two months. That is when thi ngs started to fleet apart. The first thing to go for my mother was her memory. I can remember coming home from work and my mother talking to me about going camping like I was five years old. non knowing how to handle it I just contend along with the conversation, it seemed to make her happy. This went on and off for about two weeks and then things actually started heading down hill pretty quick. I had to get help from hospice care, to have help taking care of her, because she was basically bedridden and unable to care for herself.Hospice came into our home and set up a medical bed and other medical equipment in our formal living area, this was the open area in our house. At this point I quit my job to take care of her because hospice care was only coming to the house like twice a day the rest was up to me. I had made a promise to her not to let her die in a hospital and I was trying to keep that promise. As the days went on the care became more and more demanding not really phy sical but mentally. I was doing everything thing for her, from bathing, changing her clothes, and bed pan to forcing her to take the meds she still need to take for pain control. At this point she was no longer able to speak, it seemed like her mind was completely gone just a blank stare. My breaking point was met, I was unable to care for my mother at home anymore she had pretty much slipped into a coma. I had to have my mother moved to the hospital, I couldnt keep that promise I made her and still to this day I beg for forgiveness from her. She was only in the hospital for three nights before she passed. My brothers and I took turns at night staying with her and my night was night three. That night was a special night, it was her birthday. On the night she passed away we got her a birthday cake and song happy birthday to our mother for the last time. After singing happy birthday and blowing out the candles we each gave her a hug. When it became my turn to give her a hug I told her i t was ok for her to go, that we will be ok and I love you. It wasnt long after that she passed away at the age of 40. Not long after my mother died my life begun to fall apart. I could not deal with people always asking me if I was ok or if I needed anything. I started pushing everyone away and mop up out the ones I love.I needed to make a positive change in my life because my mother would not want me to live this way. So I joined to U. S. Army and left home and everybody I loved. I didnt really have a plan I just knew I needed my space and this was the only way I was going to get it. In fact I wrote a letter to my girlfriend breaking up with her on my flight to Germany, after I had completed all my initial training. I was completely alone for the first time after my mother died. Not a day goes by that I do not think about my mother and how her passing changed my life.Today I live my life the way I believe she would have wanted me to, with an open mind, trying to see the positives in every situation I find myself in. There are things I wish I would have handled differently when it comes to my love ones I left behind when I joined the Army. My mothers passing away changed my life in so many ways and has dad a major impact on the way I raise my kids, I do not take the time I have with them for granted. You never know when your time is up, so I say make the most of it and never wait until tomorrow to tell someone you love them.

Emotion Recognition From Text-a Survey

emotion Recognition From textbook-a SurveyMs. Pallavi D. Phalke , Dr. Emmanuel M.ABSTRACTEmotion is a very valuable view of human behaviour which affect on the way people interact in the society. In recent year many methods on human senses cognizance have been published such as recognizing sense from facial expression and gestures, speech and by written schoolbook. This paper focuses on classification of emotion explicit by the online text, establish on predefined list of emotion. The collection of dataset is the basic step, which is collected from the various sources like daily used declares, user status from various well-disposed net extending websites such asfacebook and twitter. Using this data set we target only on the keywords that show human emotions. The targeted keywords argon extracted from the dataset and translated into the format which flush toilet be bear on by the classifier to finally generate the Predicting representative which is further comp bed by the test dataset to give the emotions in the in set sentences or documents. Keywords Affective Computing, Classification, Document Categorization, Emotion Detections. admissionRecently much research is going on in emotion recognition domain. Recognition of emotions is very useful to human-machine communication. Many kinds of the communication system can react properly for the humans emotional actions by applying emotion recognition techniques on them. These systems include dialogue system, automatic answering system and robot. The recognition of emotion has been implemented in many kinds of media, such as image, speech, facial expressions, signal, textual data, and so on. Text is the some popular and main tool for the human to carry messages, communicate thoughts and express inclination. Textual data make it possible for people to exchange opinions, ideas, and emotions using text only. Therefore the research for recognizing from the textual data is valuable. Keyword-based cash ad vance to the proposed system since the keyword-based approach shows high recognizing accuracy for emotional keywords.Interaction between humans and computers has been increased with increase in development of information technology. Recognizing emotion in text from document or sentences is the first step in realizing this new advanced communication which includes communication of information such as how the framer/ loudspeaker system feels about the fact or how they want the reader/listener to feel. Analyzing text, detecting emotions is useful for many purposes, which includes identifying what emotion a newspaper headline is trying to evoke, identifying users emotion from their statuses of divergent social networking sites, devising dialogue systems that respond appropriately to several(predicate) emotional states of the user and identifying blogs that express particular(prenominal) emotions towards the topic of interest. List of emotions and words that are indicative of each em otion is likely to be useful in identifying emotions in text because, many times varied emotions are expressed by different words. For example cry and gloomy are indicative of sadness, boiling and shout are indicative of anger, yummy and delightful indicate the emotion of joy.To bring emotion from text document we require the classification which aims at presume the emotion conveyed by the documents based on predefined lists of emotion, such as Joy, Anger, Fear, Disgust, Sad and Surprise. This emotion recognition approach is mainly focused on two main tasks.1) The test data that is text document collected from any news articles, user statuses from different social networking sites etc. required for understanding the emotions evoked by words. This is because a different word arouses different emotions comprehended from our day to day experiences. For this purpose, pauperization is to enhanced dictionary with emotion word from ISEAR, WorldNet Affect to improve in result.2) Need for text normalization to handle negation, since the scope of words is larger in this scenario, the usage of words and their diverted form is large too. So these problems need to be solved properly. The next part of this paper is organised as follows separate II discusses a survey of emotion spying from text, Section III describes different algorithms on different datasets for emotion recognition, Section IV briefly compares proposed work followed by experimental study with result in section V and Section V concludes the paper.THE SURVEY OF sense DETECTION FROM TEXTSDefinitions about emotion, its categories, and their influences have been an important research issue long before computers emerged, so that the emotional state of a person may be inferred under different situations. In its most common formulation, the emotion sleuthing from text problem is reduced to finding the relations between specific input texts and the actual emotions that drives the author to type/write in such styles. Intuitively, finding the relations usually relies on specific surface texts that are included in the input texts, and other deeper inferences that will be formally discussed below. Once the relations can be determined, they can be generalized to ring others emotions from their articles, or dismantle single sentences. At the first glance, it does non seem to involve so many difficulties. In real life, different people tend to use uniform phrases (i.e. Oh yes) to express similar feelings (i.e. joy) under similar circumstances (i.e. achieving a goal) even so they native languages are different, the mapping of such phrases from each language may be obvious. More formally, the emotion detection from text problem can be formulated as follows Let E be the set of all emotions, A be the set of all authors, and let T be the set of all possible representations of emotion-expressing texts. Let r be a function to reflect emotion e of author a from text t, i.e., r A T E and the fun ction r would be the answer to our problem. The central problem of emotion detection systems lies in that, though the definitions of E and T may be truthful from the macroscopic view, the definitions of individual element, even subsets in both sets of E and T would be rather confusing. On one hand, for the set T, new elements may add in as the languages are constantly evolving. On the other hand, currently there are no standard classifications of all human emotions due to the complex nature of human minds, and any emotion classifications can only be seen as labels annotated afterwards for different purposes. As a result, before seeking the relation function r, all tie in research firstly define the classification system of emotion classifications, be the number of emotions. Secondly, after finding the relation function r or equivalent mechanisms, they still need to be revised over time to take away changes in the set T. In the following subsections, we will present a classificatio n of emotion detection methods proposed in the literature, based on how detection are made. Although they can all be classified into content-based approaches from the point of view of information retrieval, their problem formulation differs from each other1. Keyword-based detection Emotions are detected based on the related set(s) of keywords found in the input text2. Learning-based detection Emotions are detected based on previous training result with view to specific statistic learning methods3. crossbreed detection Emotions are detected based on the combination of detected keyword, learned patterns, and other supplementary information as well as these emotion detection methods that infer emotions at sentence level, there has been work done also on detection from online blogs or articles 12. For example, though each sentence in a blog article may indicate different emotions, the article as a whole may tend to indicate specific ones, as the overall syntactic and semantic data cou ld strengthen particular emotion(s). However, this paper focuses on detection methods with respect to single sentences, because this is the foundation of full text detection.A. KEYWORD-BASED METHODSKeyword-based methods are the most primordial ways to detect textual emotions. To approximate the set T, since all the names of emotions (emotion labels) are also meaningful texts, these names themselves may serve as elements in both sets of E and T. Similarly, those words with the same meanings of the emotion labels can also indicate the same emotions. The keywords of emotion labels constitute the subset EL in set T, where EL also classifies all the elements in E. The set EL is constructed and utilized based on the assumption of keyword independence, and basically ignores the possibilities of using different types of keywords simultaneously to express complicated emotions.Keyword-based emotion detection serves as the starting point of textual emotion recognition. Once the set EL of emot ion labels (and related words) is constructed, it can be used exhaustively to examine if a sentence contains any emotions. However, while detecting emotions based on related keywords is very straightforward and easy to use, the key to increase accuracy falls to two of the pre-processing methods, which are sentence parsing to extract keywords, and the construction of emotional keyword dictionary. Parsers utilized in emotion detection are almost ready-made software packages, whereas their corresponding theories may differ from dependency grammar to theta role assignments. On the other hand, constructing emotional keyword dictionary would be ocean to other fields 3. As this dictionary collects not only the keywords, only also the relations among them, this dictionary usually exists in the form of thesaurus, or even ontology, to contain relations more than similar and opposite ones. Semi-automatic construction of EL based on WorldNet-like dictionaries is proposed in 4 and 5.As was obse rved in 6, keyword-based emotion detection methods have three limitations described below.1) AMBIGUITY IN KEYWORD Though using emotion keywords is a straightforward way to detect associated emotions, the meanings of keywords could be multiple and vague. leave off those words standing for emotion labels themselves, most words could change their meanings according to different usages and contexts. It is not feasible to include all possible combinations into the set EL. Moreover, even the minimum set of emotion labels (without all their synonyms) could have different emotions in some extreme cases such as ironic or cynical sentences.2) incapableness OF RECOGNIZING SENTENCES WITHOUT KEYWORDSAs Keyword-based approach is totally based on the set of emotion keywords, sentences without any keywords would imply like they dont contain any emotions at all, which is obviously wrong.3) LACK OF LINGUISTIC DATASyntax structures and semantics also affect on expressed emotions. For example, He laug hed at me and I laughed at him would suggest different emotions from the first persons point of view. Therefore, ignoring linguistic information also create a problem to keyword-based methods.B. LEARNING-BASED METHODSResearchers using learning-based methods attempt to formulate the problem differently. The captain problem that determining emotions from input texts has become how to classify the input texts into different emotions. Unlike keyword-based detection methods, learning-based methods try to detect emotions based on a previously trained classifier, which apply various theories of machine learning such as support vector machines 7 and conditional random fields 8, to determine which emotion family should the input text belongs. However, comparing the satisfactory results in multimodal emotion detection 9, the results of detection from texts drop considerably. The reasons are addressed below1) DIFFICULTIES IN DETERMINING EMOTION INDICATORSThe first problem is, though learning -based methods can automatically determine the probabilities between features and emotions, learning-based methods still need keywords, but just in the form of features. The most intuitive features may be emoticons, which can be seen as authors emotion annotations in the texts. The cascading problems would be the same as those in keyword-based methods.2) OVER-SIMPLIFIED EMOTION CATEGORIESNevertheless, scatty of efficient features other than emotion keywords, most learning-based methods can only classify sentences into two categories, which are positive and negative. Although the number of emotion labels depends on the emotion form applied, we would expect to refine more categories in practical systems.C. HYBRID METHODSSince keyword-based methods with thesaurus and nave learning-based methods could not acquire satisfactory results, some systems use a hybridization approach by combining both or adding different components, which help to improve accuracy and refine the categories. T he most significant hybrid system so far is the work of Wu, Chuang and Lin 6, which utilizes a rule-based approach to extract semantics related to specific emotions, and Chinese lexicon ontology to extract attributes. These semantics and attributes are then associated with emotions in the form of emotion necktie rules. As a result, these emotion association rules, replacing original emotion keywords, serve as the training features of their learning module based on severable mixture models. Their method outperforms previous approaches, but categories of emotions are still limited.D. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONSAs described in this section, much research has been done over the late(prenominal) several years, utilizing linguistics, machine learning, information retrieval, and other theories to detect emotions. Their experiments show that, computers can distinguish emotions from texts like humans, although in a coarse way. However, all methods have certain(p) limitations, as described in the previous subsections, and they lack context analysis to refine emotion categories with existing emotion models, where much work has been done to put them computationalized in the domain of believable agents. On the other hand, applications of affective computing would expect more refined results of emotion detection to further interact with users. Therefore, create a more advanced architecture based on integrating current approaches and psychological theories would be in a pressing need.III. ALGORITHMS USED IN EMOTION RECOGNITIONA brief summary of the various works for emotion recognition discussed in this paper are presented in Table1.Table 1 Results and feature-set comparison of algorithmsIV.EMOTION RECOGNITION IN SOCIAL COMMUNICATIONThe block diagram of the emotion recognition system studied in this paper is depicted in Figure 1.It contains three main modules Affective communication unit, Data collector, Emotion Recognition Engine and recognized emotion class as an output.Fi gure 1 Block diagram of emotion recognition system for Affective communicationAFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION UNITAffective Communication Unit is nothing but the users account in any social networking site (tweeter or facebook). This system take input from these two social networking sites.DATA AGGREGATORData Aggregator collects user tweets and status from tweeter and facebook. These tweets/status serve as an input to Emotion Recognition Engine.EMOTION RECOGNITION ENGINEEmotion Recognition Engine including Bayesian Network classifier categorizes incoming data into 3 types of emotions happiness, sadness, and neutral, because this system mainly focuses on finding stress level of user. It is broken up into 2 major chassis Training Phase and Testing Phase. Training phase consist of five important parts The Training Dataset, Keyword Extraction, Keyword conversion, Training Model and Predicting Model. Before it generate the predicting model or file, training phase get the training dataset from w hich it extracted the keyword from the emotion training date, and convert the keyword using keyword conversion into the format that can be processed by the classifier in the Training Model.Testing phase which is also called predicting phase consist of Testing dataset, Keyword extraction, Keyword conversion and predict model. The testing phase extract the Keyword from the given sentence, which was the input from the keyboard and then translate the keyword (word of natural language) using the Keyword conversion into the format that can be processed and then we compare it with a predicting file in predict module and finally gives the output as appropriate emotion expressed by the text.VI.CONCLUSION The proposed system is able to recognize the happy and sad state of a person from his tweets posted on tweeter from his mobile. The experimental results Shows that the we get better accuracy using Naive Bayes classifier than that of Support Vector Machine.VII. REFERENCES1 2. Tim M.H. Li, Mic hael Chau, Paul W.C.
