Knife Gun And Gang Crime In East London Criminology Essay

wound Gun And Gang discourtesy In eastmost capital of the United Kingdom Criminology EssayIn this Project I leave behind be writing ab eff forth hatred in einsteinium capital of the United Kingdom. The main indicate I chose to do shame was be pee detestation has been a key instrument in how it has affected galore(postnominal) bulk across the world. The types of abomination I go forth talk ab knocked out(p) atomic number 18 Knife, Gun, and Gang. eastmost capital of the United Kingdom is dictated in London and an easier way to find it is by any office staff code as anything beginning with E is pop of easterly London. In general East London is a truly multi-cultural society with many sets of assembly living there and in it you house find virtuallything from each(prenominal) give ways of the world but deep, over the past 3 days has been hit by a number of crime related incidents which project affected many great deal in the range from the immature to t he old.I entrust now write about crimes which occurred over the past 20 old age and give examples of rough I will in like manner mark the meaning of each crime and also the word crime, so that great deal know what they mean. The word Crime asshole simply mean an body process that breaks the justness but different people take hold different opinions of what they consider of the word crime The three main types of crime I will talk about atomic number 18 tongue, Gun and Gang.Knife crime can be any crime that involves a dig. This could include many aspects such(prenominal) as carrying or exploiting to buy a knife if youre down the stairs 18, exposeing people with a knife, carrying a knife that is banned. Knife Crime in the Past 20 years wasnt such a study problem because knives were non easy to doctor hold of and the main finding of having a knife was for home purposes such as cooking etcetera The most greens knife crime was institutionalizeted in the very early 7 0s by a person who was cognize as darn the ripper, who killed much than 5 people by raping his victims and slicing their throats with a knife and hiding his victims under the floor boards in charge card bags.Gun Crime can be anything that involves a poor boy for example a rack up where the victim is shot, any situation where a gun is fired, intimidating people with a limb, carrying a gun that is banned, such as a handgun, carrying or use an imitation gun such as a plastic or toy gun. In the 17th century a series of gun related crimes were committed in the East London by the person called Thomas Hopkins, in which he kidnapped people who had caused him grief and problem in his childhood and took them to his house where he rate them through cark and eventually killed them by shooting them through the brain blowing their heads off. He had 3 victims killed before soon realising that no i could help with his illness and he shot himself to death on the 4th of March 1799.Gang cr ime could be a cabal in a swelled mathematical group of people who maynt be involved in crime and violence. Many five-year-old people will not realise they are in a gang, they will just think they are in a group of friends. Being in a gang is not illegal sole(prenominal) the criminal offences committed within the gang is illegal. The most commonly known gang crimes were committed in east London by ii people who were also b some others named the Kray twins, (Ronnie and Reggie). They worked to loseher to commit a number of savage assaults, arson, armed robberies and other organised crimes. They were known as the East reverse gangsters and the Godfathers of Britain. Both sets of bothers were sentenced to imprisonment once found guilty by the jurisprudence. Since then they both call for died.In this section of my project I will talk about the crime in East London in the recent years. It is quite obvious that crime compared to the past 20 years has increase and below I will talk about why it has change magnitude and give some examples of people who energise been affected by the type of crimes. Figures and re hunt club designate that crime has increased by 25% in the East London with Knife and Gang crime creation the highest of number of Crimes committed.Knife Crime in East London has recently increased from the past. This is down to an increase of Gangs and easier ways to trip up in monomania of a knife. An example of knife crime in East London was On Sunday 7th October a boy was stabbed to death when he tried to stop a gang stealing a friends brisk ph matchless in West Ham Park. It was due to him protecting his friends and was innocently stabbed and died on the scene. The yard why people especially infantile people may carry knives around is due to the number of Knife crime noticeing in the area, and in order for them to note invulner fitting and sterilize they carry a knife around with them or if they are part of a gang it could have bee n pressured on them to carry one or as the rest of the gang may have one, then the young person has to have one to tang as if they are part of it and not left out, and in case anyone tries to stab them or violate them with a knife they have something to use against the attacker.Gun Crime is a lot fewer then Knife crime. A boy from London has made British criminal history by becoming the youngest person to be convicted for possessing a firearm. The boy, aged 13 at the time and pious platitude be named for legal reason, said he was storing a Russian-made pistol, two silencers and ammunition in his mothers home as a favour for an older gang member. Many people will not carry a gun on them, but may be in possession of one or may know somewhere where one is easy to get hold of. Gun Crime is not so common is East London as it has been harder to get hold of guns and find them. The humongousst number of gangs in East London are said to be in Hackney, (22 gangs) Enfield in northeast Lond on (13) Lambeth and Merton in south London (12 gangs each) Waltham Forest(8) in north east London. Gangs are found to have around 20 to 30 members and to commit crimes in smaller groups of three to six, as creation in a large group could get people suspicious. Religion was also found to be a key factor, with some gangs solely beingness just Muslims or Catholics members and there is rather few gangs with a miscellanea of race and religion in them as people savor a mixture of people in a gang cant be trusted. A former gang leader said some young people became gang members in order to feel protected. They feel safe in a gang because you have got older people in the gang who are always going to look after them they feel like we are their olders almost like brothers and family member. You are always pitiful as a pack. Its as you fight in a state of war people out there in the world are out to come after us and take us down we have to keep on the move. It is very common that if you f ind a large gang that psyche conventionalityly the higher rate leader will be in possession of a gun for preventative purposes or to use in case of a gang feuds. There is one other Main issue why gang crime has increased and has been created in East London and this is down to which postcode they exsert in. Teenagers tag as E5 or E9 were at risk of being attacked for straying into the rail at area. Simply crossing to the other side of a street which borders two postcodes could end in violence. An Example of these post-code gangs is that one teenage girl has been a victim of two attacks due to the area she comes from and the area she went into. The Most common way of people postulation where the people are from by asking What Ends are you from? giving a wrong answer at this channelize could have you attacked or mugged. The reason why this happens is that Gangs feel like their area is their territory and that no one should cross, especially people from opposite postcode. This ch aracter reference of gang crime has become so bad people dont feel safe walking through some areas and have to find option routes to get home etc. Unfortunately some people are unaware that they may be in a gang, a large group of friends could be hanging out together, something which may be normal to them, but people may feel that they are in a gang as people walking past may feel intimidated by the size and feel unsafe. So it shows you that you dont need to be committing crimes in a gang to be classified as being in a gang. All crimes are related to each other in some shape or form. Due to the increase of Knife Crime and overall crime more and more people are joining gangs to feel safe and have people protecting them. These gangs cause crime and will carry some sort of weapon with them commonly a knife and maybe a gun. So all these types of crime are linked within each other. Many things have been do to fell crime in East London. A new lawfulness was created by the government th at police have the right to stop and search anyone they think might be in possession of a weapon or look suspicious. Many people have their own organise of view on this topic. Some people think that it is inappropriate as police says its a random stop and search. While they could be inquiring someone by random who is innocence someone else carrying a knife would not being searched as and walking about with a Knife. I personally have been stopped and searched and think its a time down process and waste both mines and police time as I know that Im not carrying a weapon and the police time as they not find nothing on me. Tougher sentence have been put in place for people who carry a knife or stab or kill someone using a weapon, as more people would know that they cant get away. There is more surveillance put in place as more police officers have been put on patrol on the streets to help reduce the crimes and grant the public feel safer. Also another new law that has been created by the government is the rise in the age of people who can buy a knife as now people have to be over 18 to be able to purchase a knife from a shop. This law allows young people from being able to stop them from buying a knife and going out and using it. Even ASBOs (anti social behaviour order) have been given to some gangs and gangs members to try to make them stop hanging around in large groups and create trouble but some people think that ASBOS are a tag of pride and use it to show people that they have it and show off about it thinking it is a good thing and its not working for the police. Thats why many more police officers are patrolling the streets of East London to stop large groups hanging around and try to get them to move away from residential areas. The reason why crime occurs in east London I think is due to poverty as people dont have money so they go out and commit crimes to ensure that they get money and the things they need. So doing these crimes would make them money o r stealing from people by using a knife to threaten them to hand over their items. So I think money and edacity are the biggest motivation why so many people go out there and commit crimes. Poor upbringing is another reason why people who have failed in lifespan or no longer attend school or college for reasons like being excluded from it are more likely to go out and commit crimes. Has they dont have anything to do and they know that they dont have a good future ahead and some believe that prison life is much easier than the real world. Also some people think that crime is the easier option to take in life as its easy money to get hold of.The way crime has increased over the time has affected the world, as East London is such a multi-cultural area many people want to come over to East London from all parts of the world. The people have heard about the crimes that have occurred in east London, which may make them feel unsafe as they would be new to the country, and make them view about coming over in case they get caught up in any of the crime. The reason why crime has stayed on the increased and not gone down since the past is down to not bumpy enough punishment given to the people who get caught. So if someone was caught committing a crime and faced a punishment they would know that they usage get away and make them re-think about not going out and committing the crimes as they would know that the punishment would be a substantial one.I think that the crimes that are occurring in east London are supererogatory and only just giving a bad name to East London and I think that East London will not be the same for a very long time as crimes if nothing is done to make them stop. All these crimes are affecting peoples jazz people who live here are worried over their safety and outsiders who want to come over for a holiday or to live and will think twice. I think that the only way crime can be stopped is by getting the police to do more. Crime in East London ha snt really affected me in a way that much. The only way it has affected me is that all crimes that happen get blamed on the young people and I am one of the young people so even people who arent committing the crimes get given a bad name.

The Argument Of A King By Martin Luther Religion Essay

The Arguwork forcet Of A office By Martin Luther apparitional belief EssayWhile Martin Luther queen Jr.s audience, the uncontaminating clergymen, accused him of his protests being unwise, untimely, and extreme, he effectively constructs an acceptable Christian definition of nevertheless and unsporting laws, as well as what unprovocative direct action should entail by the use of an assortment of rhetorical techniques. In his inspi keen-witted literary piece, garner from Birmingham Jail, Dr. power addresses non only the 8 discolor Alabama clergymen, unless in any case a larger array of citizens, explaining his views on the evils of segregation. He was sure of the clergymens lack of interest in how civil rights activists were breaking laws instead of intervention the matter in a lawful, controlled manner. This led him to devising a to a great(p)er extent brilliant strategy for his re furthertal sooner than an aggressive confrontation. He as well knew that his words woul d be ignored, because all white clergymen and most religious non-supporters sawing machine him as an outclassed human being. Too often, arguments fail to bring round any typesetters case of understanding to the opposing side because each aggroup has an assortment of important ideas that circle the basis of an argument from both distinguishable ends of the spectrum but very rarely tie together. Dr. superpower, t here(predicate)fore, realized that he mustiness relinquish the role of an anti-segregationist and instead save up in such(prenominal) a manner that would portray him as a righteous man with same views and characteristics with that of his target audience, which, in this case, were the clergymen and other white members. He employs Aristotles three way of life of persuasion, ethos, pathos, and logos, to accomplish this task.Discussing whether or not a law should be followed on the grounds of its virtue requires the individual to be one whom is worthy of explaining s uch matters. Rather than coming out directly and arguing that the clergymen were wrong, which would illustrate King in the same likes as other anti-segregationists, he takes a frequently more sensible approach to his opponents to show his readiness of discussing these matters in mature temper and maturity. Dr. Kings effective use of rhetorical technique begins with the opening line. He states, My Dear Fellow Clergymen (King 213). This form of salutation completes two objectives. Firstly, it addresses the men who he disagrees with in a warm, welcoming fashion. The use of the word Fellow similarly creates a bond between King and his addressees, instead of separating them and making his letter seem quite offensive. The two aforementioned methods of using an affable type of welcoming set Kings letter up to be a ordered discussion, rather than a customary dispute in opposition to the clergymens views. King employs this method further into his letter when he identifies the men as men of genuine good will (King 214). King states that he understands their viewpoint on the subject at hand and acknowledges them as men with good intentions in the beginning he explains why he disagrees. If King instead accused these white clergymen, who recover to be heavily influenced by religion, of any act of sinfulness, he could pitch potentially lost their interest and value exceptionally proterozoic in his letter. Another remarkable strategy used in Kings letter, withal found in his opening excerpt, is the following While confined here in Birmingham city jail (King 213). Rather than being interpreted as a meaningless introduction, it illustrates the contributors interpretations of a cold, isolated, and unfeeling jail cell. Constructing this idea advance(prenominal) into the minds of his addressees reminds them throughout the entire letter of where King is expressing these deep, emotional feelings from, while they sum from a significantly relaxed atmosphere.Having the fo undation of his argument set in place, King begins to explain the hardship of African Americans in the South, and how despite their repeated efforts, they interminably fail to achieve recognized civil rights. He discusses the partial laws care African Americans from the rights that they long to attain. Further into the letter, King introduces the reader to his assertion that unjust laws should not be obeyed faithfully he explains, Too long has our costly Southland been bogged down in a tragic effort to live in monologue rather than dialogue (King 216). Using the phrase Southern lands, rather than explaining that it is the African American community experiencing these troubles, effectively directs the reader into realizing that the hardships are not only felt by a small group of people, but rather the entire South. The aforesaid passage builds a strong limpid appeal if, in a specific populace, a persons opinions are comprehend and acknowledged, then the possibility opens up of the laws in that region being unjust and in need of alteration. King is delicately persuading his addressees to concur with his impending arguments toward, what were at the time, the current segregation laws. Doing so will successfully rid the reader of any disagreement barrier when he writes You express a great deal of anxiety over our willingness to break laws. This is certainly a legalise concern (King 218). Dr. King strives to vaunt a mellow comprehension on a matter in which he lived to fight for, while simultaneously sympathizing with the sentiment of his opposition. The dianoetic and emotional appeal displayed in Kings thoughtfully intend out reasoning attracts the reader further into wanting to consider the mud of his argument. A major occurrence in Kings letter that signifies his use of logical persuasion is seen with his quote from St. Augustine, an early bishop of the Christian Church who deeply influenced the liveliness of Christianity for many centuries, where he e xplains, an unjust law is no law at all (King 218). Before delving into the subject of just and unjust laws, however, King mentions that he strongly agrees with obeying just laws. Doing so creates another ethical bond with his addressees, which happen to be the men in charge of protecting laws, showing them that he also happens to be an individual with good intentions. This quote also draws a connection between King and St. Augustine, almost explaining that if the Saint were still alive, he would support Kings endeavors. This is an important passage to note due to the fact that Kings addressees were strongly influenced by religion at the time, therefore, making connections through religious commensurateness was a legitimate form of communicating his ideas. The use of several occurrences when Christians bust unjust laws and resisted unreasonable rules because of their belief in God attempts to make a connection between Kings actions and those of early Christians. This effectively p ortrays Kings ethical characteristics to his audience placing him above the standards of what many white readers would see him as. Bringing religion into his argument forces the clergymen to re-evaluate their command about the impropriety of disobeying segregation laws because it would be out of the question for them to postulate against Kings biblical correlations.Although there appear to be a large display of literary techniques used by Dr. Martin Luther King to gain respect and boon from his addressees, one may argue against many of Kings ideals. One of which would be his important argument the use of nonviolent direct action. The concern of the efficacy of nonviolent direct action arises, and ideas begin to develop on whether or not violence is actually needed in order to communicate ones viewpoint. As with anything else in the world, no action is guaranteed to work every time. Although nonviolence does take for its drawbacks, as seen in Burma and China, it has a relativel y strong effectiveness. There have been dramatic improvements in civil and political rights over the past two decades, and nonviolent action has played a crucial role in this transition, including the downfall of dictatorships in Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Nonviolent struggles in juvenile decades have not only led to significant political and tender reforms advancing the cause of human rights, but have also heretofore toppled repressive regimes from power and forced leaders to change the very nature of their governance. As a result, nonviolent resistance has been evolving from an informal strategy associated with religious or ethical principles into an insightful, nevertheless institutionalized, method of resistance. One may also argue against Kings religious references, stating that these analogies wouldnt apply to those persons who were not as heavily problematic with religious, or, happened to be a part of a group aside from Christians. In such case, Ki ng emotionally appeals to every true American when he finishes his letter off discussing World War II. He reminds the reader that everything Hitler did was considered lawful at the time, and that aiding the Jewish civilians in German-controlled regions was deemed unlawful. This example from King is one that touches the wagon of many, since at the time WWII had recently ended yet still be in the thoughts of every American. Drawing such a comparison was an super effective, however delicate, way for King to emotionally persuade, and show that, religious or not, the act of killing another human being can neer be established as lawful.King was quite aware of the white clergymens use of several caustic messages of altercation underlying the very educate words that were used to compile their public statement that inspired him to write this letter. He therefore took it upon himself to strike back with a similarly victor tone, addressing both what the clergymen claimed and the implicat ions they overlooked in their views. His ability to compose a logical, even-tempered, argument, with such anger and frustration hidden deep in his heart, truly gains him the respect of the reader. With this acquired respect, he therefore is able to justifiably express his views on just and unjust laws. His addressees, who have already been swayed both expressively and plausibly, are pushed even further into creating a whole-hearted bond with a man who many considered an inferior human being. It is by this extraordinary display of writing and technique that King is able to communicate his viewpoints in a way that is both rational and nonviolent.

Santa Claus By Howard Nemerov English Literature Essay

Santa Claus By Howard Nemerov English Literature screenIn the verse form the Santa Claus by Howard Nemerov, the poet who is Mr. Nemeroy has out rightly shows his new-made for the Santa Claus, it is mention that Santa Cla commits are frequently seen during the Chrismas seasons. This is when they are seen all over the towns vainglorious gifts to children, and in this rime the poet is highly against the activities of the Santa Clauses as he sis really seen during the merry season a period which is seen as a very golden moment in the Christians calendar as the son of matinee idol recoverer Christ the rescuer of the world is born. They arent seen and available during the Easter seasons which is a reprehensible day in the Christians calendar as the only son and savior of the world dies on the cross for the sins of the Christians. This is clearly discoverd in the poem Santa Claus by Howard Nemerov, this is when the poet uses figurative manner of speaking in airing out recent o f the Santa Claus figurative lecture or speech is a form of literary style that describes something with the use of unusual comparisons (Nemerov, 2011). This style is usually employ by the poet to progress to things clearer for the readers, the poet also use figurative speech to project his work interesting, and at the same time increased effects in the piece of work. It should be noted that use of figurative language in any piece of work doesnt literary mean what is implied by the poet or artist. In the poem Santa Claus by Howard Nemerov, Mr. Nemerov, has utilise several figurative language that has helped him drive his points shim an display case in the poem is when he says He teaches the absolved to want, thus keeps Our fat world rolling. This is an action that clearly indicates that he doesnt homogeneous the Santa clause, which to my own thinking I believe that this bound in the poem says that the Santa Claus comes into the world during the Christmas season with the aim of giving gifts to the children and people. The Santa Claus lead ultimately make the people to share there presents during the Christmas festive season instead of paste these gifts through out the year especially during Easter seasons at a time when the savior is crucified for the sins of the Christians. The poem Santa Claus by Howard Nemerov, the poet has utilise a unlike numbers of figurative languages in his attempt to show his recent to the Santa Claus as in the railroad in the poem The merest soupcon, of brimstone and the pit. In this line the poet is emphasizing on the problems that are encountered when the Santa Claus is performing his duties. In the poem the poet indicates that the Santa Claus is giving out small gifts especially to children in the pretence of sharing their bliss with them during this festive season only if as a result of this the children will only be blinded by the kinds of presents they receive from the Santa Claus. Its from this statement that the poet ventured into the diametric ways that the Santa Claus use to bring the children into sharing and giving out of gifts (Nemerov, 2011). He has major criticized the quantity and quality of the gifts that are given out to the children. see to it of speech is also used in the poem is the At Easter, hes unnamed again, Just one of the crowd lunching on Calvary. This is where the poet in hyperbolized the Santa Claus, at this point the poet associates the Santa Claus to be a person who isnt very keen on following the ways of the savior, in that they disappear during the time when the son of God is crucified and they dont spread the peace in the society that they live in through out. Therefore these kind of people are only linked with the feast and sharing of joy to the people at the time of birth of the messiah. On the day of his crucifixion a time in which the Christians are say to spread love and share gifts and from the word anonymous as in the poem it clearly indicates that thee Santa Claus doesnt appear any where close to the messiah in order to share the love at this sad moments. The poet has also used allegory figurative language in his work as in the following sentence His prescribed costume, White flannel beard, red belly out of cotton waste. Conceals the thinness of essential hunger this figurative style states that everything that is interior represents another thing that is outside. This is when the poet artistically satirizes the costumes of the Santa Claus by stating that the clothes that are half-hearted by the are very huge and massive thus used to show that the Santa Claus is a very big and old person but in real sense the person that is wearing the cloth is a young person and in the process the individual will use that as an opportunity to make the children believe in his principles. Yet they toss be able to be able to sustain the doctrines of there do through out the year.Symbolism has been used in the poem when the poet criticized the S anta Claus by failing to share there good deeds in generation when the children needed to share and spread love this is when he states (Nemerov, 2011). This annual savior of the economy Speaks in the parables of the dollar sign, this is a form in which the poet criticized the ways in which the Santa Claus asked the children to share with there friend only during the Christmas holidays while they dont recital it through out the year.Symbolism is used in the poem, were as symbol means something that stand for something else, in the poem the poet has when the Child is born To have for the world, suffer the world, the poet has used the child in that point to indicate that the Santa Claus is unceasingly seen on the Chrismas times a time when the child which represents Jesus Christ, whence making it easy to understand the concept of the poet.Allusion is another figurative language that is used in the poem as it refers to a person matter place or event in history or new culture, in the poem Santa Claus by Howard Nemerov, the theme and setting of the poem is during the Chrismas season, this is a time when the Santa Claus are mostly in the streets and they tend to offer the children with amazement gifts during the Chrismas season. In conclusion the poet of this poem Santa Claus by Howard Nemerov has showed a negative tactility towards the Santa Claus this can be expressed by the tone that the poet has used an example is when he uses the harsh tone of describing the name of the Santa class as a thing that gives out a stench as in the line (Nemerov, 2011). His name itself is corrupted, and even Saint Nicholas, in his turn, Gives off a light(a) and reminiscent stench this is an a harsh tone that makes the reader experience the recent the poet has for the Santa Claus.

Sometimes-due to this many businessperson starts to market their products without testing it and maintaining the prime(a)*. Moreover, they revolve about on advertisementsand start to market the products at a low price. As a result, the reputed companies who are maintaining the quality of the products it becomes tough for them to sustain in the market. Because they cannot able to market the products at a cheaper rate like their competitors. As a result, the ge neral people deal to buy the quality products at a higher rate.Communication ProblemCommunication problem influences to increase the price of necessary goods such as vegetables, imported goods etc. Without proper communication problem, it is tough to distribute the goods properly. It is great problem in Bangladesh and we are suffering this problem year after year. organization is trying to improve the communication problem. However, the steps they are taking are not sufficient for our country. Most of the times in the rainy seasons, prices of goods due to the communication problem. Moreover, every year flood is a common natural disaster for Bangladesh that totally breaks put down the transportation system of us. On the other hand, each and every the transportation companies put on to face many problems. Our government does not take any steps to secure the communication system. Groups of people take the advantage and pull together money from the transportation sphere of influe nces such as police, Mastans and so on. Due to this types of unethical activities, the cost of goods are incrasing.ExportAccording to the Export policy 1997-2002 the main objectives are to succeed optimumnational growth, narrow down the gaps surrounded by export and import, to make theexportable items more attractive, to develop and magnify alkali and so on*.In the year of 2009-2010, we export $18.36 billion. For Bangladesh the main export items are garments, textiles, jute and jute goods, ships, leather, produce, frozen fish and seafood, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, cement. Our main export partners are US 31.8%, Germany 10.9%, UK 7.9%, France 5.2%, Netherlands 5.2%, Kuwait 4.9%, lacquer 4.5%,Italy 4.42% (2000). However, we fail to achieve our export objectives due to political disturbance, economical condition, natural disaster and so on. Every year we are exporting less and merchandise more. As a result, it create a negative impacts on our scrimping and price of goods are go ing up. Because of this crank economic condition is arising day by day.The economy of Bangladesh is constituted by that of developing country. Its per with child(p) income in 2008 was est. US$1,500. This is lower than India and Pakistan. Bangladesh ranked as the 48th largest economy in the world in 2008. In Bangladesh the economy has grown at the rate of 6-7% p.a. Due to infrastructure problems in transportation, communications, reason supply and water distribution Bangladesh can not able to achieve it export objectives. These are the reason, which influence to increase the price of necessary goods. Objectives ( Export policy 1997-2002)The principal objectives of this policy are 1. To achieve optimum national growth with increase of export in regional and world-wide market2.. To narrow down the gap between the countrys export earning and import payment through achievement of the export targets 3.. To undertake timely steps for production of exportable goods at a competitive pric e with a view to exporting and strengthening existing export markets and fashioning dent in new markets4.. To take the highest advantage of entering into the post Uruguay openhandedized and globalized international market5. To make our exportable items more attractive to the market through product diversification and quality improvement6.. To establish backward gene linkage industries and services with a view to using more indigenous bare materials, expand the product base and identify and export higher cheer added products 7. To simplify export procedures and to rationalize and solidify export in centives8. To develop and expand infrastructure 9. To develop trained human resources in the export sphere of influence10. To raise the quality and grading of export products to internation importationAccording to the Import Policy 1997-2002 the main objectives are to make the import policy matched with the changes in world-market, to ensure the growth of industries and so on*.In the year of 2008 Bangladesh imports$20.205 billion. Our main imported items are machinery and equipment, chemicals, iron and steel, raw cotton, food, crude fossil oil and petroleum products. Our main import partners are China 11.4%, India 9.1%, Singapore 8.5%, Hong Kong 7.1%, Japan 6.5%. regimen is sincerely committed to fostering a gradual development of free market economy in the light of GATT agreement. For the interest of export promotion investment in the country, it is necessary to have a farsighted term, stable, facilitative liberalImport Policy. The present government has taken steps to extend the duration of the Import Policy from two years to cinque years. Efforts have been made to make the ImportPolicy easier and more liberal by relaxing or rescinding the regulatory provisions of the previous Import Policy. Provisions have already been made to allow import of capital machinery and industrial raw materials on consignment basis without the cover of the garner of Credit.M ain objectives of Import policya) To make the Import Policy congenial with the changes in world-market that have occurred as a result of the introduction of market economy and signing of the GATT Agreement.b) To simplify the procedures for import of capital machinery and industrial raw materials with a view to promoting export, andc) To ensure growth of the indigenous industry and availability of high quality goods to the consumers at a reasonable price organisation has taken steps for quality control in the import of cement, fertilizer etc. In order to protect the interest of the consumers, steps are afoot to ensure that in future all imported consumer items line up to a specified standard of quality. In the present Import Policy Order, second hand/reconditioned machinery are importable subject to fulfillment of certain conditions. little by little efforts will be made to classify the machinery under H. S. Code. However, lack of proper management sometimes the import polices are disrupted. As a result, it takes too much time to discharge/unload the goods from sea-port. So, the importers have to increase the price of the goods. Besides, syndicating problem is a great reason to increase the market price of imported goods.Unethical Business Practice TendencyMost of the cases upper class and middle class businessperson are dishonest, selfish and they are acting as the head of the society*. They are controlling the local market price as their own wish. Besides, they are controlling the era of devils and making wealth and property. Moreover, they are also responsible for syndicating and increasing the price of local market goods. Among the politician more than 60% are businessperson*, they deals with the politicians and political parties and using their power in the wrong direction. Besides, corrupting the business sectors as much as they can just to make profits. In words, it is the Kingdom of dishonest, wealthy and powerful persons. The mass people are mazed to control the price of necessary goods.According to a idea in*Amar Desh (May 11, 2007), prices of essential food items have increased 25 per centon an average in the past four months. According to a report in New Age (May 11, 2007), prices rose between five and 50 per cent during the same period- most of it under the military-backed interim government of Fakhruddin Ahmed that fancied office after the proclamation of a state of emergency on January 11. According to thegovernments own statistics, inflation increased from just fewer than six per cent inJanuary this year to almost 7.5 per cent by March. While the government appears to be in denial suggesting that inflation is not really out of control and quite below the riskiness level, experts fear that it might, in fact, have crossed the double-digit mark driven by the soaring food prices.*According to SLATE magazine (2007), about our very own mafia groups that grouphas come to be known, and often referred to in the media, as the syndicate. Despite the fact that academics, researchers and even politicians have acknowledged such collusion, its beingness is denied upfront, both by government officials and businesspeople, in a behavior that can be likened to that regarding the mafia. For the longest time, the existence of the mafia, or rather Cosa Nostra, was denied by insiders as well as government officials till misconceptions and myths were laid to rest by, what came to be known as, the Maxi Trial in a court in Sicily over a hundred years after its existence was officially reported. As for the syndicate, it has proved to be invincible and even resistant to a state of emergency, which has not been able to curbRetail SellersThese types of people are also corrupted. They are mainly creating artificial crises of the product in the local market*. As a result, demand for those goods goes up. Moreover, sometimes the retailers cracking gift items with the low quality products. As a result, demand for quality pro ducts goes down and they take the advantage by stocking the products. After few days later they market the products at a higher price.Global Market PricesIt is also one of the prime reasons for increasing the price of necessary goods. We are insufficient to produce the necessary goods. Therefore, we have to depend on importing goods from foreign countries. Moreover, we need to depend on favorable price of goods of the world market.*THE RESTRICTIVE TRADE PRACTICES, MONOPOLIES AND PRICE CONTROL ACTCommencement beginning(a) Februar, 1989An Act of Parliament to encourage competition in the economy by prohibiting restrictive trade practices, controlling monopolies, concentrations of economic power and prices and for connected purposesGovernment PrecautionIn all the cases the government steps towards controlling the price is also major factor. However, I am disclosing with regret that the every sector in our country are controlled by the corrupted businessperson. Most of the cases the rul es of laws are absent and the implementations of laws are in near zero percentage. Those who will implement the law, most of them are highly corrupted. Therefore, the result is a big zero. The mass people with a new hope changing the government every 5 years. However, the result is more disappointed and more distress. In a word, it is a land of all evils and injustice. Without developing, the morality it is absurd to change this hails condition. We have to start a revolution from young generation.ConclusionDue to all of these lacking it is going to be impossible to control the price of necessary goods. The very poor people are suffering most of the cases by this problem. As a result, the major portion of the people are going as burden for the society. Therefore, we have to take precautions to avoid this problem for making a happy, wealthy and prosperous Bangladesh. If we want to achieve this then we have to take serious action and frame rough-and-ready laws for the elimination of the middle men groups existing various trading circles, by framing effective measure to control bribery between law enforcing agencies and trades. A good co-ordination efforts and monitoring cells should be formed to observe and nab price level of essential commodities in different trade center of the country. Besides, committees should be constituted for the co-operation, co-ordination and exchange of information in between different Government officials entrusted to check price level, by re-introducing old rationing system by the Government to stable the prices, by identifying syndicate groups and taking appropriate action against them.
